Nous imaginons des poupées Kokeshi

Au Japon, au début de leur création ces poupées, étaient des jouets pour les enfants des paysans, ou des souvenirs pour les touristes, représentant des petites filles. Ces poupées japonaises traditionnelles, étaient constituées d’une tête et d’un corps cylindrique, symbolisant le vœu et le désir d’avoir un enfant en bonne santé. On compte plus d'une centaine de types de poupées kokeshi. Ces jolies poupées japonaises en bois, sont offertes dans la tradition japonaise, pour déclarer son amitié ou son amour à la personne qui le reçoit.

Petites révisions !

Pour écrire en Japonais,il faut connaitre 3 systemes d’ecriture:
1/ Les HIRAGANA : あいうえおかきくけこ etc…
tous les sons de la langue japonaise et tous les mots peuvent etre ecrits en HIRAGANA.
2/ Les KATAKANA : アイウエオカキクケコetc…
tous les noms d’origine etrangere.ex :pain,coca,paris,Catherine,etc…
3/ Les KANJIS : 機ー愛ー口ー目―赤etc…
les mots entiers,les noms de personnes japonaises….ils peuvent etre remplaces par des HIRAGANA

Fun expo for U

To celebrate the first major museum exhibition of Sashiko textiles in the UK and the launch of the innovative book Manga Cross-Stitch, the Japan Foundation presents two very special events looking at textiles and needlework.

Distinguished Manga/Anime expert and author of the newly published book Manga Cross Stitch, Helen McCarthy, will present a unique event focusing on cross-stitch designs inspired by Manga and Anime, discussing how the graphic imagery of Manga and Anime can be interpreted in textiles. There will also be the opportunity for participants to create their own cross-stitch pieces with Helen’s guidance.

This event is free to attend but there is a £3 fee to cover the cost of workshop materials, payment is by cash on the day.

La fete des garcons a lieu le cinquieme jour du cinquieme mois de l’année.
Le 5 mai,les familles souhaitent aux jeunes garcons de grandir en bonne santé et de devenir des hommes forts.
Une légende chinoise raconte qu’autrefois une carpe a remonté le courant d’une riviere pour se transformer en un puissant dragon.C’est pour souhaiter de la force et du succes aux petits garcons que l’on accroche des carpes volantes dans les jardins ou aux fenetres.Il y a une carpe pour chacun des garcons de la famille.
Les enfants décorent la maison avec des casques de samourai (kabuto ) et dégustent le KASHIWAMOCHI,gateau de pate de riz fourré de crème de haricots rouges,le tout enveloppé dans une feuille de chene.
